Cassava is one of the major cash crops being produced in large quantities in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The crop has remained a source of income to many farmers across communities in the area, Weekend Trust reports. Other cash crops that are being produced in the area are sesame, sugarcane and beans. []
