The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi has nominated former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwankwaso as his running mate. Obi, a former governor of Anambra state, announced this in his acceptance speech shortly after he was affirmed as partys presidential candidate at a special convention in Abuja on Saturday. []
